In the middle of the desert, a peaceful place did rise,
Madinah became a city where faith lit up the skies.
It was once called Yathrib, till the Prophet came one day,
He brought mercy and kindness — and showed a better way.
He left Makkah on the Hijrah, through hardship and test,
To build a home of brotherhood, where hearts could find rest.
He made a mosque with love and care, brick by brick, side by side,
A house for worship, prayer, and truth — where faith would never hide.
Abu Bakr, his closest friend, was gentle, strong, and true,
He stood with the Prophet in every moment he went through.
He led with calm and wisdom, his heart so full of light,
A man of faith and loyalty, who always chose what’s right.
Umar, bold and brave, was strong in every fight,
Even Shaytan feared his steps — his faith was shining bright.
He judged with truth and fairness, a leader firm and wise,
He ruled with justice, never swayed by tricks or lies.
Uthman, so generous, so humble and so kind,
Gave all he had for Islam’s cause, with a peaceful mind.
He helped the poor and hungry, and gathered the Qur’an too,
A man of pure intentions, whose love for Allah grew.
Ali, the lion-hearted, so brave and full of grace,
He stood for truth and justice, in every time and place.
His sword was for protection, his words were deep and strong,
He walked the path of goodness and never chose the wrong.
Bilal, once a slave, became the one to call,
The adhan echoed from his lips — the most loved sound of all.
His voice touched every heart, as he called to pray each day,
A symbol of how Islam clears every chain away.
Sa’d ibn Muadh, a leader from the land,
When he spoke with faith, even angels took a stand.
And Hamza, strong and fearless, the Prophet’s loyal guide,
He gave his life for Islam and still walks by our side.
The women too were noble — like Aisha, smart and bright,
She taught the world about Islam, with wisdom and with light.
And Fatima, the Prophet’s joy, so patient, pure, and fair,
She walked with grace and dignity, with strength beyond compare.
Oh Madinah, blessed city, full of peace and prayer,
You gave the Prophet love and care, and always kept him near.
Your streets hold stories of the best who walked this earth,
And remind us of our purpose, and our true, eternal worth.
So if we walk your paths today, let’s walk with lowered eyes,
And say, “O Allah, join us with them — in Your Gardens high in the skies.”
